Raise to Work is a project that helps our neighbors to start the journey out of homelessness and on to the path of restoration. They complete forms that help us to assess where they are mentally and vocationally. Then an appointment is made during the week with the Director who then interviews, arranges job leads, provides some training, coordinates assistance, provides clothing, etc. This is one of the most important aspects of our project. Raise to work begins during Operation Hug but continues on afterwards.
An important part of Raise to Work is the Job Mentorship Project. This is a 4-6 week project which includes the life plan, free training, interview preparation, free job attire, life coaching, a housing and budget plan.
